The Open Road

Freedom. Adventure. The allure of the open road.
The Westy offers all these in full measure.

Whether visiting a previously undiscovered corner of your own state, or embarking upon a long voyage across this vast continent, the Westy is uniquely qualified for such cross-country travel. But in addition, I find it is also an excellent medium for meeting other kindred spirits on the road. Random encounters with other Westy travelers in campgrounds and grocery-store parking lots often lead to chatting and swapping stories and tips, and one often parts company feeling one is leaving old friends.
I offer here a modest, growing selection of some of the Westy trips we've experienced. Please feel free to reply with questions or comments, ideas or stories of your own; it's always nice to hear from a new old friend …
